Feast: Snail Porridge ala Blumenthal, Scallops and Prosciutto, Roast Beef, and Pineapple Upside Down Cake
Last night was a feast. There was a lot of cooking. A lot of good wine. A decent amount of licorice tasting spirits, which may or may not include absinthe.
Hey, you gotta keep it real, right? Plus, I find that if you use language most people understand, you can get past hurdles. 'Goo' probably goes against hurdle-jumping, but it helps. :)
I'm currently in school--strapped for cash yet really, really hungry (no pun intended). I cook because I want to, not because I get paid to do it (although I have in the past).
I cook because it means something, and I want to show others that it can mean something to them too. I hope you enjoy my work, and please, above anything else, cook!
In the post before this- I am glad I am not the only artistic cook that says 'goo', lol!
